Light He summons,
And light came;
And He smiled.
Land and seas He called forth,
And the oceans and continents were formed;
And He smiled.
Gravity He commanded,
And the earth hung in its place upon nothing;
And He smiled.
Flora and fauna, fish and fowl, beasts and all,
Great and small He planted upon the earth;
And He smiled.
Man He condescended to make him a cut above all;
Into man, He breathes His very breath and genius;
And He saw that it was good to make him god
Of the earth and every living thing.
But lord he became
Over his fellow men.
And it grieved Him exceedingly.
"Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise," says the Lord. I will protect them from those who malign them." Psalm 12:5 NIV
