Confront Your Fears

Fear is not only one of the most fearful emotions of our times, it has always been from Day 1 since the fall of man. With the knowledge of good and evil, Adam and Eve feared shame. They feared being exposed. So they hid themselves from the presence of God when they realised they were naked.

Fear constantly taunted the people of God when adversaries mounted against them. They feared failure, bondage, size; they feared evil men and all other forms of evil. Today, modern men face an even greater set of challenges. Men fear men, height, depth, speed, debt, loss, chaos, change, sickness, etc. The only fear that is truly lacking is the fear of the Lord which paves the beginning of knowledge of how to deal with their fears.

Be comforted, child of God. The God who led his people out of sites of conflicts, fear and pain, is still able to deliver you. He is the same millennia ago, today, and millennia from now. So confront your fears because He will help you. He wants you to be of good courage, and not cower under pressure. He will not leave you in the cold. He not only promises to go before you, He is also your rear guard. Even His angels encamp around you. Can you see that you are receiving triple protection? Is there further cause for fear? Instead -- be of good cheer, for He has overcome the world... and all the fears generated by it.

"Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare pass away as a cloud." Job 30:15

"For the Lord God will help me; there shall I not be confounded... and I know that I shall not be ashamed. He is near that justify me; who will contend with me? Let us stand together: who is my adversary? Let him come near to me." Isaiah 50:8
