an age of brutality
spurred by poor profitability
so begins
Generation aXe
you could be the next
on the chopping block,
but don't get shocked or run amok...
c'est la vie
you can't always live life on the lees,
get into the open
and explore new horizons
trim your sails
and let the high winds beckon
you to deal
truly with yourself
I reckon you'll not fail
as long as you have the serenity
to accept life's deals
then summon tenacity
to train new skills,
hopefully, by a flash of serendipity
and a dash of will
hand in hand with faith, strength and courage,
you'll soon become a hero of this age.
"In his neck remains strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him. His heart is as firm as a stone... When he raises up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves. The sword that lays on him cannot hold... He makes a path to shine after him..." Job 41:22-32
