Although there were days when I dreaded waking up, I can doubtlessly say that there is not a day that I don't look forward to a sunrise.
This Easter week, the sun appears unusually radiant and I deliberately pointed my phone camera into the sun to tone down its brilliance. But who can hold back or block the glory of the sun?
Just as who can hold back the Son of God from springing forth from His grave unobtrusively, unhindered, unaided.
He has defied the power of death, risen again that we may also have the basis of
living forever.
May His resurrection radiate immense hope and glory to all who are looking for the hope of living and living brilliantly. May He settle our hearts and focus our sight on eternity in all that we endeavour to do in this life.
"... the dayspring from on high hath visited us, to give light to those that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." Luke 1:78-79
